new has been circulating that ted greene passed away a couple of days ago in his lesson studio apartment. i cannot forget the chord chemistry book, i still go back to it although the pages are falling out.

he will certainly be missed.

he did tons of whacky guitar mods back in the late 60's early 70's when nobody was doing that stuff. he was a gifted player, he will be missed.

I used my Chord Chemistry book as a guitar bible and had the great chance to get him to sign it 22 years after the purchase. He was so kind and humbled by my over the top praise for his work.
It's pages are falling out and it's held together with packing tape and I'll keep it forever. He will truly be missed.
