I'd like to give it a whirl...looks like it might be a fun guitar to play. He got good money for it too.

It ain't a bunch of Hype........... :D
I've only had it 3 days so I don't want to get new guitar syndrome here.......but it really is an incredible Instrument. I emailed the Builder Rick
New Old Stock Guitars (formerly The Guitar Works)He was nice enough to take the time a share some of the history of the guitar and he confirmed that he did make the guitar from N.O.S. TA parts. Tom did a Fantastic job on this neck let me tell you...........it confrims 100% any guitar is really just a sum of its parts........

king...i'm not totally convinced that i can walk into mercedes benz parts department, purchase all the parts necessary for a cl600 and at the end of the day have this....

i'v learned that it is more abouts the touch of the masters hand, but good materials are paramount in the process.
just my $.005 cents.
we saw plenty of our parts assembled into bad guitars. that's really what inspired us to do only complete guitars instead of parts.
how much do you suppose it would cost to buy all the parts to build that cl600?
I know the answer to that question..........
i bet it's more than my house.
Perhaps MSRP but if consumers saw the EBOM (Engineering Bill of Material), many would be shocked too see how inexpensive parts are.

Especialy with a motor going for more than $50.000 alone. Belive me as a master MB tech they are not cheap. And most people take better care of their guitars.
$50.00 for a motor sounds pretty good to me ;)
