Classic Pickguard Question

Is the Classic pickguard the exact same dimensions as a Fender Strat pickguard? And if so, do the screw holes line up too? In other words, would an off-the-shelf Fender pickguard fit on my Classic? (Not including the 3 pots vs 2 issue).

it is different in every way. holes, neck pocket, and bridge cutout.
