well after many months of making jigs and templates and the like, i've decided to take your advice and go the cnc route. I'm starting some college milling / cnc classes next month, and have already started working on drawing parts in autocad, and a 3d software called rhino3d (suhr uses it). i have autocad background so it's coming pretty quickly.
i'm going to wait on the cnc till i get most of my stuff drawn, and i have some experience under my belt. looks like i'll try to pick up a used haas vf1.
so back to the orginal question, what do you use to do your development work?
thanks,
Dave
