Recently I started a thread about a fake Fender Custom Shop guitar on Ebay. Several members chimed in and we developed a short but accurate list of issues to prove the guitar was a fake.

Well I sent the winning bidder a link to that thread. And sure enough he realized he was being conned. He just sent a thank-you message to me, and thanked the forum members too for helping him get out of this mess.

SO WE DID A GOOD DEED! THANKS GUYS!

Good work. I did the same thing with a fake andy that kept reappearing on ebay with no mention of the faked neck. Most people were glad to find out that they were bidding on a fake. I go back and forth between apathy and concern about obvious ripoffs on ebay. Much of the time I think it's the customer's business to verify that stuff. (Though to be honest, that guitar you posted would have been hard for me to discern --- though I don't know much about those models and probably would know a bit more if I was in the market for one)
