Just curious what it usually costs to refinish with a solid color. I'm interested in getting my Cobra refinished in ,probably, ice blue.
seriously, sell it and order a new one. the labor involved in a refin is just too high. pat wilkins, the guy who did our finishes in the late 80's early 90's could do it but you still have the re assembly time.

what about a small nick on the binding. mysteriously a guitar i havent picked up in months has a nice nick on the upper horn, just through the clear, down to wood. can i just send you the body? i dont want the nick spreading.

Dave,
Sounds like the same exact situation I am going thru on my Koa HDTC. I dropped a CD case which chipped part of the binding. I sent the body to Jack Gretz and he has been working on the repair. From what he's told me the repair is looking good and is hardly noticeable. You may want to give him a call.
chips in the binding are the easiest ti fix because there is no color to match. check with jack.
