no, you need enough neck angle to make it work, and atom is the only thing we do with enough.

Interesting. Is the angle on the neck for tone reasons or out of necessity due to the higher bridge?

it is necessary for this bridge style, but it is also part of what makes the feel of the instrument. wrist angle and the way it hangs on you.
