Booster in a TAG?

Hi everybody:

Ten days ago, I was playing a guitar with a booster.
and I asked myself, Tom has made a lot of great inovations in guitars (swithero, chambers,...) .....(I think he is a innate inventor to add new innovations in guitars, really)

and then, Why the booster is not an option on TAG?

I suppose there is any reason, but I unknow what it is?

i have an aversion to batteries in my electrics, and there are plenty of good boosters available in pedal form. a cord conected to the guitar is still one of my favorite effects.
