Got a friend who really like's my Andy's but is a die hard 24 fret man. Has there ever been any thought of produceing one.

nope. you have to move the neck pickup to where it sounds like a middle pickup, and everyone knows you can't make any money playing up there.

That's what I thought.

He's a freak, I'am trying lure him away from the dark side (Ibanez Jem) to the side of the somewhat normal.

Has he actually played an Anderson and felt the difference between it and a Jem? I'm sure Jem's are cool in a way for what they are, but it's unlikely there's much comparison between them and an Anderson. Certainly an additional D# and E aren't worth the difference. But to each his own.

24 frets lead to bad pickup placement and other bad things.....you must stop this.
Next thing you'll want is a painted headstock on a maple neck...and next is anarchy.

I think it has to do with watching Vai and Satch, way to much. He actually played my Hollow T and really dug it. So there is hope.

huh!?!? i thought all you really need to play cool geetarr is a super-hot bridge pickup and a floyd!
at least that's what Holdsworth does

Holdsworth (on the Carvin or on the Delap) uses whatever the trem from a Steinberger is, no? I don't think it's a Floyd.

I think most people want 24 frets because the cutaway would be 2 frets higher... if you do any serious amount of playing around the 15th fret then it's pretty necessary. It's not so you can actually play the 24th fret

I owned a Jem 7PBK (I think its the first serious prototype of JEM) since 1989.

Light weight, very good fretboard, distance between pickups are too short, but don't affect playability.

In nineties it was my nš 1, but now I prefer the TAG tone.

But I think it has his place in other kind of style.

Was I dreaming (as I have been accused of), or did we once make a fingerboard go on top of a properly placed neck pickup? Kind of like a neck pickup diving board?

Any pictures around of that guitar? I'd love to see what that one looked like.
