I love finding new sounds out of my Andersons. A month ago I went to repair guy extraordinaire Bryant Russell at Charley's with an idea for a wiring mod. I'm not going to go into the whole "Jay Mod" as he calls it, but one sound that resulted by accident is FANTASTIC.
It certainly isn't revolutionary, but if you are looking to get SRV-like tones out of your double humbucker equipped Andersons, try this combo.
Both on
coil tapped with two inner coils on (left side of bridge, right side of neck from playing postion).
Just thought I would pass it on to any fellow tinkerers. I like this sound SO much more than the stock B5 coil tapped sounds.
