Just needed to get this one off my chest.......
I had a person who purchased 3 of the Anderson Caps over the last month email me about purchasing some short sleeve T-Shirts. After some emails back and forth he agrees that he would like to purchase 8 of the T's (he's suppossedly an Anderson fanatic like most of us). Having developed a level of trust because of the 3 previous transactions I agree and tell him I will email him when they are in so he can PayPal me the money. Well, the T's come in but the person refuses to return or acknowlege my emails. So basically I am stiffed for $100+ out of my pocket. My philospohy has always been that a verbal agreement or handshake seals a deal with me, I guess I have encountered that individual that makes you rethink your trust in people.
The T's are made by Desert Wash which has a cool selection of "pre-washed" colors in a short-sleeved T design.. The original intention of the Forum SWAG Program was to make a small amount on each item and put it towards operating costs. To date we have raised about $300 which has been forwarded to Jack Gretz to pay the monthly bills and software costs. Quite frankly I need to recover my out-of-pocket costs on these T's, so I will offer them to members at my cost of $15.50/shirt plus shipping. Here's what I have:
All the T's have been sold. I really appreciate all the forum members who helped me out!
