Greetings from soon to be TA owner!

Well it's taken me some time but I finally pulled the trigger on a new TAG. I ordered a HDTC (M1 M1 H2+ configuration) in Tigers Eye Burst from Jack at Magdon. I first touched a TAG at NAMM several years ago and I knew it would be just a matter of time. I think it should be arriving soon (I've been told the guitar is done)!

It's coming with the .030 neck and I was a little concerned since I like thin necks but I think it'll be fine. Stating the obvious, these are some fine guitars. I just hope this doesn't turn into GAS. :D

Greetings! I'm waiting for my first (and hopefully last - only want to get one electric - don't laugh) Anderson due in a month or two. I'm getting a little excited, but at the same time I'm nervous because I haven't had a chance to play it. I'm hoping it will turn out good.

Thanks for the welcome. Garrett...watch out for GAS! I bought one Taylor acoustic and somehow (I'm not sure how) it turned into 4 Taylors. :eek:

I don't think you'll have a problem with an unplayed Anderson. Others on this forum can speak better to that but given the size of the Company I bet every guitar gets sent out with a lot of love and attention.

Welcome to the forum Vito. Now worries about getting a TA guitar without having played it first. I've done it more times than I care to admit and I've always been more than pleased with the instruments. I haven't met an Anderson yet I don't like (which doesn't help the GAS situation at all).

Thanks all. It is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday and I'll plan to take some pics and post if I can figure out my iMac homepage. Looks like it was built on 4/15/05 assuming that's my guitar I found doing the serial number search (that date is fitting for a tax guy :D ).
