Another new TAG owner in NY

OK, so maybe I'm not worthy, but I bought John's 'black-tie' Cobra Special, and expect delivery on Friday. It will be the first TAG I've ever played, so I hope my confidence isn't misplaced. After searching for years for an electric guitar that feels right to me, I've concluded that I prefer gibson-style scale length but fender-style geometry. "Why have none of these expensive electric guitars felt as comfortable as my cheap, old acoustic?" I don't care to own more than one electric guitar, and I don't have an expensive-enough amp to be overly concerned about tone. Sick of playing in bands for decades, my goal now (in my jack-of-all-trades nature) is to record my original stuff, performing all the parts (sax, guitar, keyboards, etc.) myself.
I'll report on the Cobra next week.
