John,
I might have an Anderson that will fit what you are looking for. I have a Classic (serial # 05-03-98A). The guitar is in awesome shape for a guitar that is now close to 7 years old. It does have one modofication. I had the folks at ANderson guitars swap out the next from the 1 11/16 (+0.05 inch oversized) to a 1 5/8 in standard back shape profile. The new neck does have a rosewood board. If you are interested, then email me at:

John,
I have a classic which meets the specs you are looking for (01-17-96P). . It's translucent white swamp ash with a Madagascar Rosewood board - a real sweet guitar. Please contact me if you are interested.

It's a very low $1995 including shipping, which is above your stated range, but I have this fantastic Hollow Drop Top I'm selling to raise some cash for another interest.
