After watching the CMT video awards and seeing Dirk Bentley and his guitarist both playing classic T's, while standing in line with there bass player. I thought how cool would it look if he had a TAG bass to match. Has there ever been talk of one.

I was backstage working at the CMT Awards last night! They rocked. I noticed Dierks had a new Butterscotch Andy - identical to mine.
I was like, "That must be pretty cool to see your name on the headstock of some of these guitars on National TV".

It looked like they did although on tv. You could tell the sound gremlims were out. Not clear and you could see some people could not hear, but they kept on going.
that's a ripley stereo bass, pan pots for each string. we made the wood parts for those back in the day. ripley went on to be "the tractors". he now has a studio in tulsa. wonderful guy.
