I'm wondering how hard it would be to put M1-M1-M3 in my hollow classic--will they fit in the spots routed out for the single coils that are currently in it?

No...won't be a direct replacement. Some wood routing will need to be done and a new pickguard will need to be made. Send it in... we'll do it right.

What does it sound like? I've heard the Ms awesome, but is your guitar still pretty classic/stratty? I'm sure that I would love it; I just need to know if I would have to buy another true single coil guitar to replace it once it was fitted with Ms. Thanks!

It is a little more warmer and full body. You can get some really nice clean's and chunk. Just think more in the lines off a very clean no noise p90. I play in the church band and play come of the clean stuff but mainly carry the chunky rythm and it cut trough the mix very nicely. It will handle all the old rock style stuff and blues.
