Just wondered who the manufacturer is on the Anderson tuning machines, specifically the Crowdsters? I put ebony buttons on my Crowdy and the fit ok but not outstanding. I would like to put a set on that are a better fit. Have a look.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/getgo/crowdy.jpg

Hi Getgo,
Your tuners are made by Gotoh. You should be able to find decretive buttons that fit well—if they are made—cuz Gotoh is a rather big supplier of tuners and I can’t imagine a company specializing in replacement buttons would leave them out.
Have fun & Happy Playing

Look in the Allparts catalog; they have direct replacements for Gotoh heads.

Thanks Guys! I like the ebony buttons, you don't have to keep polishing the chrome or gold ones every time you tune. ;)

Tom,
Are the current non-locking tuners you're using a drop-in replacement for your current locking Gotoh tuners?
yes, they are both made for us by gotoh and start life as sg38's then get different shafts and buttons.
