Amp mods

hi guys

whats teh latest and greatest stateside -

i have a 69 ab763 super reverb , 64 JMI vox ac30T and a heavily modded rivera chubster ( great clean amp -crap spkr and crunch channel) I put a 100W fane alnico in that gives it some 'schwing' to use garth speak and a set of clean 'groove tubes'

any suggestions on mods to tighetn up teh rivera channel 1 (marshall channel)

what are the carr and dr z amps like in use

I tried several vistorias and a tophat - all ok but not better than my 2 originals

The latest and greatest? Who knows? It changes all the time here in Gearland. I would check out www.thegearpage.net -for some good info. on what people are playing these days. I used to own two Z's, a Maz 18 jr., and a 6545. Very well-built amps, spectacular clean sounds (a cross between Fender, Vox and Marshall!), okay drive sounds (not really my taste), and very reasonably priced. I've played two Tophats, both of which were Club Royales-it was very Vox like in character. I've never played (or even seen) a Carr or Victoria.
