Anyone believe in Guitar Kharma?

The first Anderson I ever custom ordered was a Fiesta Red Classic which was built in late November 2001. It ended up being a co-guitar of the week for January 1, 2002. It was incedibly light, resonant and in every way a killer guitar. I eventaully ended up selling the guitar to a forum member down in Texas who still really loves that guitar. A few months ago I started remembering how great that guitar was. Recently I even emailed the new owner and asked if he was interested in selling it back to me. His response was predictable - "it's a killer guitar and at this point I still want to hang onto it...". Just as I was contemplating ordering a new replacement Classic, up pops one on eBay. It is my original guitar's identical twin with the exception that this one does not have a Fishman Powerbridge like my original (I never used it so it really doesn't matter). Everything else is identical, Fiesta Red color (VERY rare), Neck Carve (62 RB 1 11/16 nut), same VA pickups, same aged pickguard/pu covers, same Madagacar RW board, same Heavy frets. It is due to be delivered to my house today (Wednesday).

So,....is there something to Guitar Kharma, or did I wish this upon myself? :)

hi all,
i'm not frequent visitor but thanks to tag for delivering such a wonderful product. that's a happy story .. i DO believe in karma, faith, fate, destiny, a supreme power etc ..! we are responsible and make choices and the outcome is largely dependent on the path we take and choices we make, therefore 'i am what i is' ... i think! i wouldn't call your story just a casual coincidence .. thanks for sharing, i like happy endings!

I believe we are all on a journey with gear, and in the end we are just stewards of said instruments for our time on earth. No matter how much we love the instrument, it will most likely far outlive us. So as we are together, we are together.

:D

Watch the "Red Violin" sometime. Brilliant movie.

Guitar-hma!!!!

I saw that Fiesta Red classic on ebay, and being my favorite color I was watching it myself. Nice pick up.

Spent my first period of quality time with the FR Classic last night. Every bit as good as my original one! And very consistent with the quality, tone and playablity of every Anderson I own, have owned or played. Amazin how TAG can produce guitars of such consistent quality.

On the other hand my Sunburst Anderson Classic is a bit mad a me since it realizes I have to sell it! Very nice guitar, but close your eyes, play both it and the FR Classic and you can't tell the difference.
