Got up this morning to +2 degree temperatures with a wind chill of about -15 degrees. Made the mistake of going out to lunch because it had "warmed up" to about 10 degrees.....but the wind was gusting and the wind chill was down to about -30 degrees!

Anybody else suffering out in the cold?

Been mighty cold in Billings, Montana. Finally warmed up a little. We had actual temperatures down around -10 degrees F. Add in some 25 mph winds and up to 45 mph gusts and it was pretty miserable. A little ways north and they had actuals around -30. Hard to even imagine.

It wasn't too bad. Probably around lower 70's, upper 60's in the morning, upper 70's at night. It's been raining a lot lately though-strange weather this past year. The coldest it's been this season was probably mid 60's, which can be cold here in Hawaii since we don't use heating, but then again it can't be too cold since I wear shorts every day of the year when I'm not at work.

Freezing! And I'm working in a server room that's like an ice box today.

Lucky you're not finished in nitro-cellulose or you be cracked and checked all over! :)

Stan, you would never survive up here. I'm not even telling you about what real cold is, because you probably wouldn't believe me.

I know it doesn't sound very cold to a lot of you but it's going to get down to 10 or so tonight here. That's pretty cold for GA!

I felt bad sending the kids to school today. The car's thermometer read 0 F when I started it. It warmed up to about 10 above zero today, but it's supposed to be below zero tonight. My winter break is over so I have to work tomorrow...and go out into the harsh winter environment.

No kidding. It's nine degrees and snowing here in Ithaca. A little balmier than the -10 we had last night.

Over the last week or so it was single-digits - sleet, freezing rain and plain, downright windy and cold. I was in LA last week and must have brought some of the warmth back, we are now moving toward 30f, a heatwave for this time of year. (Of course, when I was in LA I only saw the sun briefly although it came out in full-force on Friday, the day I left.

By-the-way, I tried an In-and-Out Burger for the first time - mighty tasty!! But, what is animal style?

animal is grilled onions, an option on all burgers, mustard, pickels and extra normal condaments so it's extra sloppy.

...I really envy you warm climate inhabitants.

It might be warm in this part of the country, but we sure do pay for it in other ways. The housing costs are crazy and a 15 mile commute in the L.A. area can average 90 minutes one way.

I ahve had it with winter, snow and cold temps. Time to convince the wife to move to a warmer environment!

Even my wife's Volvo, which is a hard-climate car, had a lot of trouble starting today. Another below zero night, and right now it's -5F, at 1:00 p.m. Then, we're supposed to get a bunch of snow tomorrow. Am I complaining?

6 degrees here at noontime FRiday. We're also scheduled to get about 10-14" of snow starting Saturday afternoon and ending Sunday morning. It'll give me a chance to spend some quality time with my Andersons!

It's about 60 degrees here in Tampa Bay. I've been doing indoor gigs all week but tomorrow (Sunday) I'm doing an outdoor gig on St. Pete beach. If it's too cold or if it rains, they bring us inside so I'm not worried.

Well, I just got done snow blowing my driveway. We easily had a foot of snow. This storm is heading towards the Mid-Atlantic States this evening.

Good luck to the Eastcoast people; you'll be digging out of the snow tomorrow.

Man, you should see it. It's hilarious. It's been snowing for a little while, but people have bought into all the panic, and it shows. I picked up my son from karate practice and enjoyed a 90-minute, four mile car ride. People are stuck all over, crying, abandoning their vehicles, and doing stupid stuff generally. If your car doesn't work in the snow, don't drive it!

It's cold here in Florida - it's really cutting into my fishing time. :)

Well finally dug out from the 15+ inches of snow from the Saturday/Sunday "Blizzard of 05" only to face a new snowfall of up to 8 inches today (Wednedsay). Of sourse the new snow is also the leading edge of a cold front so temps here in Connecticut will be down to about 5 degrees tonight when we will be out shoveling/snowblowing. Tommmorrow will reach a high of 10 degrees with wind chills down around -20 degrees.

On the other hand, I purcahsed a used Fiesta Red Anderson Classic which is suppossed to be delivered on Wednesday. The folks at Anderson also told me my "Birthday" HDTC is ready to be shipped. Hopefully I'll see that next week. Maybe that will warm me up!

Hard to think about the weather with that kinda' guitar stuff on the horizon....I'm sure those two will make all that quality indoors time pass by quickly. Before you know it it'll be Spring time and you'll be itching to get out of the house.

Congrats on finding your twin on ebay. I read that in the other post. Kismet!

We're getting some more warmth here in PA (not much by my standards). I'm still cynical though....we have all of Feb and March to get through before I start feeling like we're in the clear.
