Just got back from seeing Oceans 12. Good movie but am I the only that gets a little irked to pay $7.50 to go to a show and then set thru 15 minutes of commercial, not previews but commercials. Man talk about a captive audencie.

only 7.50? it's 9.50 here, and you're not the only one.

Hey Tom maybe you should do a commercial for Anderson Gutair's before the show's. May increase sell's but will definitly make them more enjoyable. :D

I say wait for the rental to come out. Unless you have to see it on the big screen with THX, or it's you spending the time with your kids, the wife, or a date. By the way," What's a date?"
You wait since folks watch less TV, Madison Ave is going to be in more unwelcome places than that!

PS the only time I liked 'What's his name' was in "Oh, Brother where art Thou",
and when they killed him off in the "Perfect Storm". Uhhh? you know, 'What's his name?... The arrogant guy from E.R. George Clooney, That's him... :D

My wife and I take our 2 year old daughter to movies once a week (believe it or not, she loves movies because she can eat all the popcorn, hotdogs and fruitpunch that she wants) and I noticed over the holidays, the theaters are pumping out more commercials. It used to be 1 or 2 commercials. When we saw "Meet the Folkers" last week, they had 5 commercials. I hope the increase in commercials was because of the holidays, and not a sign of the times.
