So how do you add an avatar to your name.

To add an avatar:

1) Click on "User CP" at the top of the page
2) Click on "Edit Avatar"
3) Follow the instructions to upload your avatar

I don't understand what you mean by "won't let me edit"....?

I checked the avatar functionality myself today. Once you open the Edit Avatar window you need to push the "Custom Avatar" button. At this point, Browse to the image you wish to upload as an avatar. Hit Save Changes and you should be set.

Note that avatars are limited to 50 x 50 pixel images, if the image is any bigger the change will be rejected. You must use some sort of graphics program to resize your image to be compliant with the 50 x 50 pixel rule.

Same here, Stan. The only option available for Edit Avatar is "Do not use an avatar."

We found an area that was deactivated for uploading avatars. It is now enabled for all users.
