I've heard great things about these amps. Would like to hear your thoughts if you have played through them.

Thanks

I had an original GT-100 for about 3 years. I also know Guy personally and professionally.

They are IMHO the ultimate in the Marhall/Vox hybrid. The ability to have a full blown tube response down to whisper levels is outstanding.

The newer F/V versions are utter genious and start copping even Fender tones.

Negatives? Size, weight and price.

Great amps. Highly recommended if you have the coin.

I have to agree with Scott. Guytron is a great amp. It has a very nice "clean" sound yet you can dial in that Marshall-like growl when you need it--even at lower levels. I fell in love with this amp a year ago within the first 5 minutes of demoing my TAG. I saved up enough to buy the guitar but have not been able to afford the amp yet--perhaps some day. If you have an opportunity (and perhaps the money), I would highly recommend that you try one out.

Sounds like a great amp, I am saving as much as I can but its a slow process. Also selling what ever I can too... gonna miss my wife though, she only brought in $623.00.. :)
