One of the UK Anderson dealers states that the necks come in three sizes, the dealer is at the other end of the country so I can't try any.
I don't have the biggest hands and as an example of what is comfy for me I really like my PRS Wide Thin neck and my Ernie Ball Silhouette Special, I don't like my PRS BLE McCarty (awesome tone) Wide Fat neck as it cramps me up. I don't like my PRS Santana II neck anymore either, it's a bit chubby and the frets are too close for me higher up the neck.
Any recommendations for me guys ? I know I need to try them myself but I'd appreciate your thoughts :D
A lot of the dealers seem to have a lot of TA's with oversize necks ? how big are they ?
Cheers .....
Ainsley
I'm at work right now, but I can give you some comparison measurements and impressions when I get home. I have a couple of PRS w/t and 3 different TA necks, so I can tell you what they're all like.

I have a hdt with a 62 neck it feel very much like my son's custom 22 thin wide. Comfortable and I have small hands also so it fit's me.

Based on your preference, I think you'd find the Anderson standard profile a very nice fit. It's shape and feel is along the lines of a PRS wide-thin neck.
The oversized necks start to move you into PRS wide-fat territory.
For myself alone and with tone and oneness, Mike.

It also depends on the nut width. The profiles change shape a little when going from 1 11/16" to 1 5/8".
As promised, here are my findings. For this comparison, I looked at my Hollow Cobra with a 1 11/16" standard neck carve, my Hollow Drop Top with a 1 11/16" .03 oversized carve, my PRS Custom 22 wide/thin, and my PRS HBII with wide/fat. The Cobra and HDT feel very similar to the CU22 w/f. Very close, indeed, as can be seen by the measurements, and the have a very similar profile.
All neck widths are 1 11/16" at the nut. The Cobra and CU22 are the same width at the 12th fret - 2 1/16".
I measured each neck's thickness at the 1st, 7th, and 12th frets. These figures are rounded to the nearest hundreth of an inch.
Cobra: .88 .90 .93
HDT: .89 .91 .93
CU22: .89 .89 .92
HBII: .91 .96 .99
Hope this helps.

Cheers for all your help guys and especially you -CM-, thanks for putting yourself out like that :D.
Seems like I'll have no problem with those necks but can I confirm that your CU22 is a w/t -CM-.
You originally said w/t but then w/f ?

Hi Big,
Occasionally hanging out with the fine people at PRS, we both checked to see which necks were similar to which and what we came up with is that a T/A Standard was closest to a PRS Wide/Thin and a 62 Roundback was similar to a Wide/Fat—all with 1 11/16-inch nut widths. If you would like to get the exact measurements however, Jack at Magdon Music (who sponsors this forum) has both guitars hanging side by side in his store. Jack is also a skilled builder in his own right and can give you more accurate measurements to validate CM’s helpful findings. Give him a call or an email. I’m sure he would be delight to help.
Happy Playing

I meant wide/thin. The Cobra & HDT necks are very similar in thickness and carve to a PRS w/t.

strange, the measurements I have on my harddrive for a TA STD + .03 are:
.84 at nut
.9 at 12th fret
& for a cobra are:
.825 at nut
.915 at 12th fret
these are way off from yours
