bad pot...bad pot...for TOM

Mr. Anderson,
When I bought My guitar, I noticed that the tone control...pull pot, was loose. With out haveing to get into the pot, is there any way i can tighten it up? i mean it is to the point now where i think its going to break and i really cant afford to be without it on gigs. If I were to replace it, how much to have a new one either sent to me, or me send my guitar to you to have it fixed.

by loose, do you mean the shaft fits looose in the bushing making the knob wobble? that is pretty normal with these pots. has it changed over time or has it always been this way?

it was bad when i got the guitar...however it seems like it is getting worse.
