How can I convert my HDTC B5 switching so that the humbucker also splits? I want to be able to get the SA middle to mix with a single coil bridge.

Put the 5-way switch in position 4 and flip the mini toggle (spliter) up: Middle split with bridge split.

I'm sorry.... I guess I was not clear. I also want to have a single coil in position 5 also. I want to be able to split the bridge humbucker by itself.

When I wanted to go the other way (master splitter changed to B5) I emailed Tom my fax number and he faxed me over a drawing showing the changes. A picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say.

I will call Roy tomorrow and see if he can help me. I was hoping to do this by tonight.

I got the drawing. I will open it up and give it a try. The only thing I don't understand is exactly which points are changed compared to the original wiring. Maybe I'll undersand when I get inside it.

what i sent is the normal master spliter setup we use. i will attach the B5 that you have so you can compare.

Thanks Tom.

Looking at the 2 drawings, it appears that to get what I want I will have to change the splitter switch. It looks like the B5 uses a 3PDT and the master splitter uses a 4PDT. Is that correct? If so, where can I get a 4PDT that will fit and look right?

any brand of 4pdt will fit. if you can't find one locally, we have them.

Tom, I have had no luck getting one today. I have found DPDT switches everywhere but no 4PDT. How do I go about getting one from you?
