For a alder Classic T with a one piece maple neck, do you prefer solid or hollow and why?

Solid. Why:

1. More Classic-y.
2. No chance of problem with neck-heavyness.

But I do like lightweight guitars.

:) Too many Joe's.. LOL
I have a hollow T classic, It sounds unbelievable!!! There is no issue with the neck being too heavy, in fact the balance is perfect, and the guitar is so comfortable. I love the lightweight feel of it.
I guess it should depend on what kind of sound your looking for, although Im sure either hollow or solid would suit it well. This is a very versital guitar, I can get wicked crunch, power chords, country twang, cleans that ring, sweet smooth tones... VA12, VA12, TV3 setup.

Just my .02
