On the right you will see my latest acquisition, a 2004 Tom Anderson Classic in Ice Blue. To the left you will see a 1996 Classic in Tobacco Sunburst. I hate to say it, but Fender does not build the best Strat-Style guitar anymore, Tom Anderson does. The VA p'ups just kills me man. Matched with a small V neck, vintage style trem and maple neck, you have the ultimate strat. Tom, Bruce, Roy, Thank you for the fine work you did on my Classic. It is everything I hoped for, and more. You guys indeed are class acts. I'll post a tone report later, my fingers are pretty tired from playing my new Andy for the last 4 hours.

Sweet one, Donk...way to go. A classic is up there on "my list". I have two amazing Fender Strats (one an older Custom Shop that was (WAS) my main guitar for years)...killer pups and tuners, the whole bit.
Picked up that Rosewood Hollow T a couple of months back....and haven't looked back. In fact, other than a PRS I just picked up, I don't think I've played ANY other guitar than my T.
Yeah....very nice color choices too. And those VA pups....goodness!;)

Ok, I have played my new Classic for about 12 hours since I got it and I can give a tone report now. The VA's, oh man! Not too brittle, but nice glassy sound when I play them through my Twin on clean. Crank up the OD and your into heaven. We got together last night and played How Many More Times by Zeppelin. I clicked the VA booster on and and it took me back to a time that I thought could not ever be traveled to again. The small V neck is the best neck I have ever played. Imagine a brand new neck that feels like it has been played for 10 years, it won't need broken in. This is clearly the #1 guitar in my arsenal right now, out of 18. I can't put it down and I actually dreamed about it last night (pathetic). Tom and everyone, thank you very much for the skill and time you put into your guitars. You have clearly have a huge fan here. But enough for now, I have to go spec out my next Andy.

I think I brewed the coffee that helped make the 'dipped' VA covers the color that they are on the Ice Bleu.
