They do NOT use SS frets at PRS.

Funny, but true! I generally like PRS, but those option prices are just ridiculous.

I believe when I ordered my Private Stock five years ago, they (or the dealer...whichever way you look at it...) quoted me $1000 for a middle pup to be added.

Yes, I did.
This was from the same turkey that tried to tell me my old TA Classic Hollow T was a Gibson scale - and that's why it was so easy to bend strings with.
