Floyd Rose Noiseless Springs

Hey Tom have you ever tried these? I believe they come in three different colors/strengths. I usually use 3 springs per guitar in the /|\ position. On some guitars, the spring claw gets very close to the rear. I was curious at to whether these might be a fix for that, giving the claw/screws some extra travel?

i have not. we use 2 springs on guitars when someone wants a soft feel, and even with two i have not run out of range with 10-46 strings. three can end up with almost no expansion on the springs which is not a good idea.
