New toy arrived yesterday. Looks great. Sounds great. Feels great. I prefer the jumbo frets on my Suhr but these "heavy" frets are just tall enough to be comfortable. The neck is lovely, and the guitar has a nice resonant woody sound, and it's so light at under 7.5lbs. It's a killer looking top too. Excited to have an Anderson. Nice contrast to my Suhr too.

Not so in love with the Anderson trem vs the Gotoh 510 though - can I swap it out for a Gotoh or the new Wilkinson locking, or is the stud spacing and size different? Probably a question for the technical forum - will post that there.

Nice! I like the look of the cream middle pickup.

What do you prefer about the Gotoh 510 versus the Anderson trem?

I love the 510, but I find the Anderson to be pretty much identical in feel and both have the push in arm which I like too.

Man I love that top. Kind of understated classy vintage look.

I mistakenly understood that it couldn't be floated parallel. So I will try that. Tom has given some advice in tech thread.

I played this some more, currently with trem blocked, it plays great and sounds terrific. I'm considering removing the pickup cover to see how that looks. Buzz Feiten system will take getting used to. Keep trying to tweak an errant string by ear and failing. 😊

It's very pretty. I was worried about the colour choice until I opened the case. 😁
