Picked up a wonderful new Superbird about three weeks ago. Realized I forgot to do a new guitar day. Love this guitar. Ziricote feels really really nice to play on. Reminds me of ebony in feel.

I have 2 non TAG with Zicicote and I am loving it. Curious how you would describe the tone? I don't know anyone else who has a guitar with it

Side by side with my other guitar with the same mahogany body and neck but with rosewood, the ziricote has just a hair more tightness and attack. It's fairly subtle though.

That is somewhat what I have found too. It is like a cross between RW and Ebony or RW and maple. It is really beautiful
