VA5 vs VA7...

I've read a bit on this but I wanted to bring it up again... VA7 adjusted a little higher because you can... Or VA5 adjusted lower to avoid too much pull? As far as achieving the more 'authentic' tone out of an Icon. I mean if you're going for the full size body, top jack, 3 knobs, bent saddles... How far can we take this thing in the vintage direction?

the va7 with the radius that is on our neck would be more like a vintage stagger on a vintage neck. it's the relationship between magnet and string that makes the sound.
