HF1 height

Hi Folks
Can someone please advise me on the ideal height for my neck HF1 ?
I've never owned a guitar with a neck humbucker before so I can't decide how its meant to sound.
I've tried loads of heights and have confused myself so I'd appreciate some guidance.

i have the same pickup in neck position of my GAplayer. It reads 4mm to bottom of string on the bass side and a tiny bit closer on the treble side, haven't adjusted since it came to me, sounding pretty awesome.

Is that with the strings fretted at the last ?
4mm seems very low to me.

sry i did it wrong. correct reading is 3mm on bass side and 2.5mm on treble

That's pretty much how I've got it. Mine is 3mm both sides.
As I said, I'm not sure how its meant to sound so just looking for some reassurance so I'm getting the best from it.
Bridge and middle were easy to dial in.

Both sides of my neck HF1 are set to 1/8" with the E strings pressed at the 22nd fret.

Thanks folks, I think I've got it dialled in nicely now.
Weirdly I've also put one in the neck of my old PRS and I got that one dialled in very quickly but I struggled with my Classic.
I love this pickup, especially split.
