Has anyone ever seen a TM2 in a custom humbucker ring? Is it even possible? I want a short T with trem and all the ones I find have humbuckers in the bridge. I love humbuckers but really wanted it to have a TM2. Got me wondering if maybe some has gotten made or seen a customer humbucker ring that a TM2 is attached too and allows the pup height to still be adjusted?

because that pickup has a weird end shape, it doesn't have a typical round end, we have never put one in a pg or attempted a ring. the T bottom plate also makes for clearance issues in a hb ring. you could get an M2 in the there mounted straight but you may have to do a little clearance making for the bass side of the baseplate.

The M2 doesn't seem to sound as awesome is a TM2. I am I losing my mind and they really are basically the same pup just one is turned a little?

turning is a big deal. you're hearing the string in different places. if you turn a full size hb you'll notice you lose a noticeable amount of middle.

Oh I agree. First time I played a M2 I thought man not sure I dig this. I bet it would be cool if it were slanted like. Strat bridge pup. When I got my HTC my buddy said to me you need the TM2. I loaded it in there and have loved it ever since
