I'd been happy for years with a set of golden Dunlop strap locks that I received as a gift, now components are missing from that set and I got my new Guardian Angel, so it was time to put on some fitting locks.(Here's a pic of the stock strap pin)

I went with Schallers after careful comparison of available choices. They come with #6 screws which are supposedly a perfect match for the stock TA pin hole.(I say supposedly because as I will reveal below, they are...not exactly.)

Left is TA stock unit(Pin,Screw,Felt washer),Right is Schaller unit(with a shorter one of the included screws).

Black Screw and smaller washer=Schaller, Uncolored Screw and Larger washer=TA

Both screws are oval head #6 sheet stainless(length 1inch, thread diameter 3.5mm). However under close examination the Schaller screw has a slightly denser thread, which puzzled me quite a bit. As for the felt washers, the TA ones were a little wider and noticeably thicker.

Left:Schaller Pin,others stock.(finally went with this) Right:All Schaller

Anyway I ended up switching out only the stock pin for the Schaller, using the original screws and felt washers. The stock screws fit perfectly through the Schaller pin with no jiggle, and the stock felt washers provided much better cushioning those included with the Schaller.

Of course I also bought a third pin to match it all up, fortunately Schaller sells separate pins.
Thats it.
