View Full Version : New Non Fine Tuning Floyd Rose. pics ???????
I've ordered the new Non fine tuning Floyd Rose option on my Classic custom order, after some really positive comments from Tom.
Despite extensive Googling, I can't find any pics of the bridge in question.
Does anyone own one already or have any pics to help me ?
I'm not second guessing my choice, I just want to satisfy my curiosity without hassling Tom.
Thanks

thought that was it in the picture of the thread where Tom told us about it
That's the only pic I've seen and it wasn't a great shot, surely that's not the only guitar to have one ?
What I mean is, how old is that guitar and have any changes been made to the trem in the pic ?

You can't zoom in to see the detail.
Tom said he changes the arm to the same as the vintage trem but that one has the original arm.
Hence my question.
I'd hoped to see some other guitars with it.

Considering how few guitars he makes a month and the fact that one is made at the end of July there is a chance no others have been made with that NFT Fr
that pic is the other bridge we were considering. it was nice but there were a couple things that bugged me when i played it and one thing that made it more difficult to install. not everyone felt the same as me about the things i didn't care as much for, but we all liked the version we ended up with. i'm making it sound like there were things wrong with the other, and there aren't, just details i prefer about the floyd with the bonus of modding the bridge to use our vintage trem arm module.
we just shipped the first ones this week and have a couple more to ship next week. one is a new color, so maybe roy will get some good pics of that one.

That would be brilliant. Thank you.
Hopefully it may inspire a few others to try it.
Tom kindly emailed me a pic of the new Floyd.
Looks fantastic and I can't wait to receive my new Classic with it.
I don't know how to insert pics on here or I'd share Tom's pic.

The guy from China who just got the angel player got the bridge too. It is nice looking
That looks much easier to contend with than a regular Floyd.

It appears I've been summoned...?
Here's a clear shot of the new bridge.

In his email Tom said he's very impressed with this new trem so I think we might be seeing a lot more of these.
I know my 5 week wait to play mine is going to feel like a LONG time but I'm really excited to play it.
7 yrs in the planning and only 5 weeks left.... exciting times.

it is so funny that you made those post them BAM two shots immediately pop up. I am not into FR at all but I must say that looks SO much sharper than a FR with fine tune adjustments

yes the red guitar a and handful of others we have made has the original bridge that started this whole conversation. for reasons stated above, we ended up going with the floyd version. it was easier to get the mods we were after with the floyd.

So I've got a limited edition bridge going on... Awesome!:p JK) Sorry bout whatever that one thing was that made installation harder on this one. It does look and feel wonderful, as I'm sure the floyd is.
