Hi,
Is it possible to buy a new neck for an Anderson you've got? I've got a 2002 Drop Top Classic Strat 10-22-02A and it's a very, very good guitar and bought it on that merit, but somehow
I always have a hard time getting used to the feel of a maple neck and getting the most out of that great guitar.

Tom does sell replacement necks but you must return the old one and it is not cheap. I have been tempted once or twice to change a neck but always adjusted

Hi,
@brokenvail I sort of remember that you and someone else asked about that - and I guess it's not such a good idea - but I'd like to get a ball park figure just to see if it's worth thinking about.
If there's a guitar I don't play as much I sell it - even if it is a great guitar - the reason is that my TA Classic 'mongrel' strat is just off the chart and I usually describe it as manna from heaven
as even makes me sounding really really good every now and then. Maybe I'm just  but that's how I think and feel about it.

So your problem is you don't like maple fret board? Or is the profile not so good either. I will gladly keep your Mongrel with maple board for you. I only own two guitars out of 6 with maple boards right now but it is my fav fretboard material
