The born on date on the headstock reminded me this morning to wish my girl a happy birthday. She's been my consistent main for longer than any other guitar since 1977. She's performed in 5 states on 100's of shows, recorded three CD's and been heard all over the world on the podunk radio stations that play our genre. She's scarred up with dings, dents paint chips and a hopefully superficial crack at the neck junction. But she's beautiful to me still. There's been a few add on parts, mismatched screws and new pups but she gives me so many different sounds that I rarely feel the need to use a different guitar.
