So, just felt I had to share...

I emailed TAG as I had bought a used (2002) Hollow Drop Top,
and first off had a bunch of questions about piezo-bridges
from Fishman and what would fit and not.

Not only did Tom himself answer really promptly and courteously,
he answered a bunch of my questions, hooked my up to the forum
via Jack where I immediately found a used TA Fishman bridge via Rob
(thanks Rob!). I can't think of ANY other builder of Tom's stature that would
not only be this courteous and service-minded towards some dude from
the other side of the world (Sweden) that bought an old used guitar.
Above and beyond the cal of duty if you ask me!

But, wait, there's more... ;)

The seller had replaced the strap pins with strap locks, and I had tried my best
to find and buy TA originals online but with no luck.
I again emailed Tom and asked to buy them from them if possible.
Without a moments hesitation he offered to send me a whole set,
complete with screws and felt washers, at no cost!
Again, dude from Sweden, old guitar... Above and beyond! :)

And finally, not only this, but Tom had even taken the time
out of his busy day and checked out my videos on my YT-channel,
and was courteous enough to compliment me on my playing

Falling deeper in love with this guitar every day, and with new pins
and now a Piezo bridge en route here, I fully expect this to be my new(old) no.1

Thanks Tom, this is by far my best service experience!
(and mind you, I've lived in the service Mekka of Tokyo ;) )

Tom is amazing. I have many stories like yours. He is truly a class act. I have a friend who is a personal friend of Tom and he tells me Tom is even more awesome than he comes off online and in email. That says a lot.

Tom and the crew out there at Tom Anderson Guitarworks are so cool I feel bad I've only bought used guitars and never a new guitar that would directly impact their bottom line. Someday I will!

Till then I'll just order t-shirts, I guess! :D

Thanks Tom for just being you!

Tom and the guys at TAG really are great people. Their customer service is fantastic. I emailed him years ago after buying a second hand Drop Top (which was already about 10 years old at the time), and he treated me as if I'd just bought it brand spanking new out of the showroom.

Since then I've custom ordered two, and bought another off the show room floor.

You won't find better service and a better guitar than what happens there at TAG California

Agree 100%!! I could have written a lot of the first post. I bought my Crowdster used. I had emailed about going Crowdster to C+ just a little bit before they quit doing the C to C+ conversion. When I saw they were stopping I panicked. I asked again about it and Tom said since we had talked about it before they would still do it, and to send it on in. I think mine was probably the last they did (they still do C+ to C++...) Then another time I called when my Crowdy's low end started sounding crunchy and distorted and asked for someone to talk to...the next voice I heard was "This is Tom..." I was a bit taken aback. The Supreme Commander himself was walking me through cleaning the pots with Deoxit. Unbelievable service and unbelievable guitars.

I've had very similar experiences with Tom, pretty amazing unexpected benefit of buying an Anderson. I think my Andersons are the only things I've ever bought for which I felt something bordering on gratitude that the builder made them and let (!) me buy them from him. That says a lot.

Tom and his team are a Class Act! Nobody serves the guitarist like Anderson Guitars.
