So, just felt I had to share...
I emailed TAG as I had bought a used (2002) Hollow Drop Top,
and first off had a bunch of questions about piezo-bridges
from Fishman and what would fit and not.
Not only did Tom himself answer really promptly and courteously,
he answered a bunch of my questions, hooked my up to the forum
via Jack where I immediately found a used TA Fishman bridge via Rob
(thanks Rob!). I can't think of ANY other builder of Tom's stature that would
not only be this courteous and service-minded towards some dude from
the other side of the world (Sweden) that bought an old used guitar.
Above and beyond the cal of duty if you ask me!
But, wait, there's more... ;)
The seller had replaced the strap pins with strap locks, and I had tried my best
to find and buy TA originals online but with no luck.
I again emailed Tom and asked to buy them from them if possible.
Without a moments hesitation he offered to send me a whole set,
complete with screws and felt washers, at no cost!
Again, dude from Sweden, old guitar... Above and beyond! :)
And finally, not only this, but Tom had even taken the time
out of his busy day and checked out my videos on my YT-channel,
and was courteous enough to compliment me on my playing
Falling deeper in love with this guitar every day, and with new pins
and now a Piezo bridge en route here, I fully expect this to be my new(old) no.1
Thanks Tom, this is by far my best service experience!
(and mind you, I've lived in the service Mekka of Tokyo ;) )
