I've become very bored of watching Tim, he can play his ass off but his tones are so bland.
I always want him to turn up the gain and rock out.
He's got a mountain of great geat but fails to utilise it.
If you watch the Tim and Pete show with Michael Thompson, Tim's solo at the end is awesome... made me want him to rock out even more.

tim's world is recording, and often he is called on to add lots of guitar parts. he is a master of layering parts. gaining that stuff up just turns to mush in a track.

again on that video you can see he's using the parallel sound on the neck pu, that's a pretty low output signal hitting the amp.

Yea I have seen him talk alot about not sounding to large and how he layers parts ect. I am always thinking man I would not know how to do that. lol.

Makes sense about the parallel thing, I was wondering how come it was not much fatter sounding. Makes sense
