I know I should wipe down my TAG after every gig because I sweat like crazy but the truth is... I don't and I haven't so now the magnets on the bridge pup are pretty funky looking. What do you recommend to clean the funk off?

Let me bump this one for you, as I'm also interested in the 'state of the art' when it comes to cleaning up 'sweat corroded' pole pieces.

Don't. It adds character and shows they're not display items but working guitars.
I wipe mine down occasionally with some light oil on a rag. Seems to help keep the H2+ looking great.

a light abrasive pad, non magnetic with a little light oil, wd40 or the like, is good for a lite scrubbing. the plating is nickel, so it's not real thick so repeated jobs may make it rust faster. after it's good and dry, you could put a drop of thin super glue on each pole, but go sparingly. this may help from future rusting. the oil will also blacken up the fiber tops. but don't soak them.

Finally, a topic us EMG users need not concern ourselves with ;)
