Is the crowdster completely hollow? I assume the acoustic pickup is in the bridge? If it is hollow I assume the plus and plus 2 models are not totally hollow.

iirc, there is a bit of a solid "block" right around the bridge to keep it stable, together, in-tune etc... other than that, pretty sure it's totally and completely hollow inside. Whether it's a regular Crowdster, Plus or Plus 2 doesn't matter. The construction is the same.
Oh, and it's awesome. Did I mention it's awesome?

I'm not sure but I think it's more chambered. I know tom stopped converting the crowdster to a C+ and definitely not to a C++ because the cable routing was so difficult especially to the neck pickup. I would think if it were totally hollow, it wouldn't be as much of an issue.
Peter is correct, it is hollow everywhere except behind the bridge. it is solid there for balance hanging on a strap.
we stopped doing the retro because the knobs are in different places on the two models.

is this basically true of all the hollow models? I don't have my Atom at home to check...

Ha. Well, in my defense, I've been enamored (obsessed?) with the Crowdster for 10 years...
Now that Crowder doesn't play his live so much anymore, we should ask Tom if he'll change the name of the model to Hammster... (that's what I call mine...)
hollowness varies with body contours. you atom is also mostly hollow, T's and drop tops with contours are a little less than flat top ones.
