Here's a good topic for debate.
There has been serious questions about what will help increase the sustain of a guitar, additional mass added to the headstock or removal of mass from the headstock.
In each corner:
1) Astin Pittman (Groove Tubes) developed a clip on finger which adds mass to the headstock to increase sustain.
2) PRS has redesigned their tuners to reduce mass in the headstock for increased sustain. They also sold a retrofit kit for some of their older tuners to increase sustain.
What's your opinions/ideas?
