Can you use a stereo cable out to a Fishman Powerblend pedal------the same as you would with a regular powerbridge? In other words, using the pedal to increase the acoustic volume instead of the knob on the guitar?

If there is a better way ( smarter) way----please educate me!

Thanks for any help.

Sorry, this is in reference to the Crowdster plus 2.

I guess the short answer is: yes

Several of us use a/b/both switching pedals. I know I've built one (with help from dplight here, who built one too) Pietro I think uses two separate volume pedals, if that's still his current setup. I know a lot of others with electrics and the acoustic powerbridges use the powerblend pedals. It's really just a matter of preference but it will work like you're thinking. They are getting a bit harder to find nowadays...

Thanks for that info. I think what I'm specifically wondering is can I leave the volume up on the guitar and control it with just the pedal, while having the mag signal sent to my bassman? Basically identical to how I use my current powerbridges on guitars now.

I know the crowdster++ is wired tip=elec, ring=acoustic, which is how your powerbridge guitars are wired I believe. It should work exactly the same. Hopefully some other powerblend users will chime in.

Essentially (although I don't use the PowerBlend myself, having separate EXPs for acoustic and electric. I like that better) the answer is yes. You need the button on the guitar to be "out", not "in", and then it operates in stereo mode with TRS.
