What would you guys recommend for strap locks on my Anderson?

The double strap buttons also give rise to the question: Which one should I install the strap lock on

Heck, I've actually never strapped the Anderson on since I got it... Which strap button do you guys usually strap on with? Or do you use one of those straps that have multiple holes and use both?

I only us the music man ernie ball strap locks. I install them on both buttons incase I ever need to prop the guitar up against the wall using the strap button's (can't prop it up if buttons are not the same height.

I usually use the bottom button by the way

the button nearest the output jack makes it be the most neck up. top one will make it hang more level.

I've always gravitated toward the bottom button.

when you guys use the bottom button, do you find the side of the strap gets caught up on the top button when you move around?

No I'm pretty sure my gut makes that a non-issue. :D

Thanks guys! The bottom button seems to place the neck right where I like it when standing up! Now I wish all my guitars had a strap button there >_<

Yup.

The top button means my arm is touching the strap. I mounted one in the center and like that the best.

I use the Loxx strap locks on all 3 pins. Super low profile, easy on/off, and keeps the strap right up against the wood.

I put on both end pins mainly so the guitar sits stable when I'm not using a strap and have it up against the amp. But, also because sometimes I like to change which button I use (although mostly I use the bottom button).

When the strap is on, there don't seem to be any nice looking strap locks that allow the 'lean on the amp' thing to happen. So I'm not too worried about it, but the safety of strap locks trumps all.

I put Schallers on all my electrics, have for a couple decades now. I just buy extra buttons and put them in all three locations on the Andersons to keep it straight.
