Neck Swap?

Anybody ever swap necks on their Anderson's?

While I really like my Classic for certain things, and just spent the money to have the Mothership re-fret it with lovely, large SS Heavy frets... I've come to the conclusion I really need a thicker, narrower neck - Happy Medium +30 or Even Taper +50, Large V...and a 1 5/8 nut width.

Is a neck swap unheard of? Or should I just sell the guitar? I'm not made of money so simply buying what I want (Cobra S :) ) is not exactly in the cards. It's a 4-bolt, BTW, so I guess I could find the right Musikraft neck or something...but I want to keep my TAG all TAG.

I'm not sure that financially it makes sense to swap a neck. especially an older guitar. Probably better to sell did rebut. we do a handful each year, usually on newer guitars.

I'm sure it wouldn't. I was thinking more along the lines of used - of finding somebody with a four-bolt maple + something neck who wanted an slimmer neck. Theirs would have to be exactly what I want and pretty spectacular though, so I'm probably still looking at selling it.
