I am contemplating replacing original type locking tuners due to slippage and wonder what recommendations for keeping the best look and original holes intact w/o drilling new ones as well. Can Tom or anyone make a suggestion? I have a hollow T from guitar sanctuary that had locking tuners with the screw knob on the back of each tuner. the standard locking tuners of late 2000's also work well. Love the 98 hollow classic I've had for about 12 years! I'll keep the gold grovers anyway.

Thanks everyone!

So the guitar has gold hardware? I have a set of Tag tuners that lock from on top of the tuning post I could part with but they are not gold

I'm also curious about this. Might be replacing my tuners as well on my '97

if they are grovers, i do not know of a direct retrofit. even grover, who does have a wheel on the back style now, uses a different hole location.
