Hey guys, am selling my Classic (not the DTC, that one will never leave my hands!). Pickups are SC1, SC1, HC2. My buyer asked me how the HC2 compared to a PAF (and he acknowledged that there is no single "PAF sound", but that's his point of reference I guess). I told him I hadn't a clue, nor do I know the pertinent tech specs (resistance and so forth). I looked around, didn't find such info here or at Tom's site or on TGP.

If there is such info that would be helpful in giving this guy a meaningful answer to his question, I'd appreciate someone giving it to me. He will probably play it tomorrow evening, so in one sense it's moot, but some folks like to know such details.

Thanks.

BTW, this will probably fund a used Atom!!

the hc2 is hotter for sure than a paf. hc1+ is closer to a paf, and in most cases the hc1 would be closest.

Thanks Tom, I appreciate it.
